please don't commit suicide

what’s your reason for thinking about killing yourself? you probably have a long list of reasons:
pain, loss, depression, problems, fear, failure, rejection, guilt, emptiness, hopelessness, love-less, loneliness, etc., etc., etc., etc., etc., …
the list just seems to go on & on. and besides that you’re probably thinking
“it’s my life, so who cares if i end it. right?”

please before you do anything drastic, give me a chance to correct your thinking.
listen i don’t doubt the feelings you might have. i’m sure they are just as real as the your circumstances. please check back to this page to truly see why you don’t have to be a slave to your feelings. but here and now let me deal with that last specific thought of “it’s my life…”
the truth is that it’s not your life. “your life” is bought & paid.

you were a slave to evil and “sold under sin” but because of His great love with which He loved you, Jesus Christ paid the penalty and took your sins. Jesus gave His life so He could own yours. don’t believe the lie that your life is worth nothing. God paid the price of life for your sins for a reason. that reason is that He might turn your life around, save it from hell and really truly make it a life worth living. please don’t waste the life God gave you and that Jesus paid for by ending it now.

Christ calls you to a new life. just as He called Lazarus out of the grip of death. He calls you to come forth that He might give you new life.

self-mutilation

even from the earliest points of the history of mankind here on earth, God has held man responsible for intentionally spilling blood; requiring the respect of human life. He said, "whoever sheds man's blood, by man his blood shall be shed; for in the image of God He made man.” (Genesis ch.9) see there’s the issue, because as it says elsewhere the life is in the blood. please realize every drop of blood that is shed is flat out disregard for life and the God who gave it.
you might ask but what if it’s my own? that’s my point, it’s not your blood. it’s God’s blood. He created you and gave you His life and His blood and His breath. and He did that because He wants to have a relationship with you and has a plan for your life. but sin separates you from God who loves you, and you will never be able to be to earn that love. that’s why God sent His Son to take your sin and the punishment and pain that results from it. He did this by becoming one of us; then allowing the body that He took on to be destroyed and mutilated. you can stop the self-destructive direction you’re living in by simply accepting the free gift of life.
do you need help to overcome your destructive lifestyle? or just want to talk? reply to this post.
